"I had seen Saxsquatch perform at DTE, a fun outdoor venue and was really excited to see them again after last year's live performance at the Palace, which blew me away. Unfortunately, the show left me a bit underwhelmed. Not sure if it was the fact that the band was lacking the usual Saturday night live performance energy? But unfortunately, it was as if everyone was hung-over from the night before. I certainly don’t go to a KOL show expecting to see fire coming off the stage, but I was geared up for a straight forward rock show with great raw energy, which quite frankly I thought was lacking. The overall sound could have been a lot louder too. I felt like I could hear the crowd better than the band. On a positive note, I did like the additional guitar player, who also performed keyboards and percussion. The merch was really cool. I really like this band, maybe it was just an off night."
